I was tearing through my mesh heads, so I called Pintech up and ordered a few of these. I was told on the phone that I should NOT use a felt beater. I changed my beater over to a plastic beater and installed this on my bass drum. It works great!

I put this on my mesh head, and it made it less “bouncy” – added bonus!

I was afraid it would make my trigger less sensitive, but it triggers just fine.

Stuck it on, but it fell off like a week later. I called Pintech and they told me to stick it on and let it sit overnight without playing. Who can wait that long??? Maybe you guys should use better adhesive? They did send me another one, and I waited. It hasn’t fallen off.
