All in all it’s an excellent bass drum. However I had some difficulty setting it up with the leg design, and if you remove the “head saver” patch (which was too small for my double bass drum pedal but is more than big enough for a single pedal) then it grows in volume considerably (still better than rubber pads, but my neighbor downstairs does notice it).
That being said, it has great rebound and is a good size. I haven’t started recording on them yet (I’m working on replacing my module at the moment) but practice wise it’s definitely worth the investment, and is better than (and cheaper than) other electronic bass drum options

I chose this as part of a completely custom kit. This is a well built solid kick. Its a little over sensitive without impact pads. But if you relax into it you can work past that with a little adjustment.
