The carbon fiber is down-right NASTY. This snare gets all of the ladies, haha! Seriously though, this snare is so nice! Having a FULL SIZE snare makes all of the difference. It works great with my Roland module, and I get full range and dynamics. VERY happy with this! THANKS PINTECH!

I was surprised by how sensitive this snare was. I can barely tap it and it will register a hit. I’ve had mine for about 2 years and I just had to replace the mesh head, which is nice. About 2 months ago I thought my trigger died, but my 3 year old son just turned down one of the knobs… Make sure you check that before getting a new trigger!

I bought one of these when it was a different model number. The new ones come with the hoop trim, where mine did not. I’ve had mine for almost 8 years now, and I just recently had to replace the trigger in it. Took me about 10 minutes to do. I have black mesh heads, but I think I want to change to white soon.

I think that was the first word I uttered when I un-boxed this lovely piece of hardware; and let me tell you, I’ve been echoing it ever since. I added this piece to my Alesis DM-10 kit 2 weeks ago and it has been nothing short of an amazing honeymoon with this. I’m getting responses out of my module I never fathomed before. The addition of the sensitivity knobs was an ingenious idea. And then to top it all of it comes with mesh heads. (My neighbors thank you).
I don’t think I could realistically find a better product to suit my needs. I think it’s safe to say I will be replacing my entire kit with Pintech product.

Easily 5 stars. Can’t say enough good things about this drum. I had been looking at them for months to replace an old Acupad that I had been using for a snare, but was a bit hesitant due to availability and price. I finally contacted Pintech directly and bought one they had in stock. It’s the best thing I could’ve done. Worth every penny and customer service was excellent. This thing flat out rocks. Solid, quality construction and works perfectly with my Roland “brain”. Response is unbelievably perfect. This thing looks and feels like a real snare because it basically is a real snare with a mesh head and built-in trigger. I also love the volume and sensitivity knobs on the side. Comes in very handy for tweaks during live performances. I’m very impressed with Pintech. I may totally switch to using their trigger pads exclusively. They’re that good and the price is right. More of their products are definitely going on my Christmas list this year. Ha! Keep up the good work Pintech!
