My drum kit is dense and I can’t have big cumbersome triggers in the way of my sticks. Pintech has the essential piezo protected in a small sturdy cover and nothing else to get in the way, so I can mount them inside or outside the shell or on the head of a bass drum and they do the job with out interfering my playing. I honestly see no reason why you would want to buy anything else. I had a $100 Roland trigger on my kick, replaced it with this sucker and it works just as well if not better. Now i can’t comment on how long they last as i’ve only had them for about a week, but right now i am ecstatic with my purchase.

I’ve attatched these to toms, snares, cymbals and other stuff messing around with them and they pick up great and haven’t had any problems with double triggering! The sensitivity is really good on these too.

I haven’t yet had the chance to use it live on stage,but so far ,i’m really impressed with how easily it can transform an acoustic kit into a hybrid beast! I love it so far,and I love how much fuller the sound can be…plus I’m totally in control of how I want to accent certain songs…This is a must have for someone looking to add sounds to their acoustic kit.
