I recently purchased 4 of the new LTE low tone electronic cymbals, 2 14″ dual zone crash with choke, 1 16″ triple zone crash ride and 18″single zone china, and I have to say I am very happy with them. they look and sound great. the triggers on all of them work great and are very sensitive. the chokes on the crashes work well and are easy to use. the ambient sound they make is about the same volume level as a plastic or rubber coated e-cymbal, just a higher pitch, so they wont bother the neighbors. I definitely plan to get a few more to complete my kit.

I recently purchased 2 LTE’s: a 14″ crash (using for hihat) and a 18″ ride, the triggering is excellent and the feel is much better than rubber cymbals. They are much lighter than other “metal” versions I have used (e.g. hart dynamics) which felt kind of “clunky” and feel great and realistic to acoustics. I have visulite’s for crashes which I also really like, but I was looking for bit more realistic feel and rebound for Hihat and Ride…these are working great and still very quiet…they just have a “ping” sound vs a “thud” sound.

I recently purchased the 18″ low tone 2 zone (bell ) ride cymbal and wanted to leave my review. The cymbal is very responsive and looks great. The bell can be triggered easily and is a big improvement from the Roland 13 r/c it replaced. They look to be well made and built to last. One thing to consider is the sound of the strike is high pitched and louder than the Roland’s I’ve been using and if that is important should be considered. The strike pads they sell might be a consideration to deal with that. Overall a great value and a great addition to my setup.
