Pintech’s mesh costs a little more than some of the other mesh on the market, but there is a reason. First of all, the mesh is STRONG. Secondly, they feel SO MUCH BETTER than all of the other brands. I’ve tried almost all of them, including some from over-seas. The only reason I decided to go with a different brand a few years ago is because Pintech only offered them in black at the time. When they started offering them in white, I decided to give them a try. I talked to a guy on the phone, and he explained to me how the mesh was different, and how it was a lot stronger than some of the other mesh. I am a heavy hitter, and I would go through my snare mesh head in 3-4 months. My last Pintech mesh lasted almost a full year.
I am now buying some more mesh as a back up because we are going on a tour soon

The only reason I bought this mesh was because they made all of the sizes I needed. I looked and looked, and Pintech was the only one to offer mesh in all of the sizes I needed. As the above review says, this mesh is super strong. I read somewhere that they used this mesh for deep sea filtration, and I believe it!

Quiet!

I did a conversion on my DM10 kit. Although these aren’t made for that, it was highly recommended that I go with the Pintech brand. I don’t know what else to compare it to, but the sensitivity is super good now. I am a fan!

Have you ever bought something, and instantly regretted it? That is how I felt when I first bought this mesh. I thought maybe I spent too much money, and thought I should have bought the cheaper stuff. I fully planned on returning them, but decided to try one head out … WOWOWOWOWOWOW. The difference in noise alone makes these work it. I can’t believe how much quieter these are than my Roland mesh! Maybe it is because of a different material? I don’t really know, but they are a LOT quieter. Pintech really needs to do some videos to show it off, because I almost returned them!

Very quiet, and installed perfectly on my acoustic conversion. My wife is happy, which makes me happy. I can drum after 8PM again. 😀 😀 😀

I got a pack of 4 mesh heads, but one of them had a small tear in it. I called up Pintech, and they told me to keep the mesh head and would send me a new one. I am still using that original mesh head with a small tear on it, and it has been 9 months. Still working perfectly. And I still have a brand new backup.

I tried these at NAMM and was instantly impressed. They were the best feeling mesh out of all of the brands. Don’t even bother with the Pearl mesh, those are GARBAGE. I tried a triple ply mesh as well, and although it felt nice, it was very loud! This gives you the best feel along with being very quiet.

These came on my drum kit I bought. They are nice!

I ordered some of these from Guitar Center. When I got them, they were the wrong size. It wasn’t Pintech’s fault, but I called them up and they did the exchange for me. Guitar Center told me it would be 2-3 weeks, but Pintech did the exchange right away and I had them in less than a week. I found out that my sales guy ordered 10″ rather than 8″ – But the nice thing is that I complained and got a $25 gift card for my troubles.

I like them. They keep my kit quiet.

I did a conversion on my acoustic kit and decided to use this mesh. They install just like a regular head would, and they can be tighten or loosened for the right feel.

In March ’14 I purchased Reaction Mesh Heads for my 5 pc acoustic conversion. They have exceeded my expectations. The feel is fantastic, and they are very quiet. My only other experience with mesh are the Roland 3 ply. The Reaction heads have a more natural, acoustic feel.

I Bought One Pintech Reaction Mesh Head, and As soonest I place it on my Converted Acoustic Snare with Pintech Kit, the first thing I notice was that the feeling that this head provides was an outstanding feel, as the feel of the drum head feels better than Yamaha’s mesh head & better than Roland’s Heads as I own 3 Roland Mesh Heads and they do not compared to the feel that Pintech Reaction Mesh Head provides which is a better feel just as if I was Playing an Acoustic Head with The Pintech Reaction Mesh Head.

I recently equipped my Alesis DM10 Studio kit with Pintech Reaction heads, and I cannot believe the difference it has made. The stock non-mesh heads were okay in the beginning, but due to my lack of experience (I’ve only been playing for about a year), I knew there had to be something out there that was more responsive, dynamic and, well – more fun to play.
I decided to take a few lessons with a great drummer I had the great fortune to play bass with in several Seattle bands named Wade Reeves. As soon as I started playing his real kit, I realized the DM10 heads would never cut it, so I went on a personal quest for the ultimate feel.
My Pintech Reaction heads provide just that – natural feel with dynamic responsiveness and the ultimate in playability. They instantly made me a much better drummer. Now it is a joy to be at the kit making music.
Just one phone conversation with Ryan and Shad, who were extremely helpful and enthusiastic, made me realize that Pintech is the real deal. I recommend Pintech products without the slightest reservation!

I have a Roland snare trigger, and upgraded the factory mesh head to a Reaction head. Immediately I noticed a massive improvement in feel and response. Easily the best mesh head I’ve ever played on.

I just recently purchased and received my first order of white Pintech Reaction mesh heads, for a Pearl acoustic / to electronic project I am working on. After having already purchased one Roland PD-105 pad, I decided to put the brakes on buying expensive Roland drums, and see what I could build my self. Each Pearl drum was cut in half which gave me 2×12″ toms, 2X13″ toms, my 22″ bass drum (with 4″ cut off), and the rest for another side project.
I am very impressed with the quality, look and feel of the Reaction mesh. The better feel when compared directly with the Roland PD-105 is quite noticeable. The 22″ Reaction mesh works stellar on my Pearl bass drum. I created a vertical wood brace inside the drum with the cone trigger set about 2/3rd towards the top, and a 2″ thick round foam pad just about centre for the beater, with the mesh slightly up against the foam to dampen it somewhat. The Reaction mesh is solid. No jello effect on my trigger, and a great feel as if you are playing an acoustic bass drum.
Compared to the Roland mesh V-drums, the Pintech mesh is not as stiff, and plays very quiet.
Very happy with the Reaction mesh, and will order more to complete the second set.

React heads seem to trigger better then a stock Roland mesh heads. GREAT BUY!

These heads are incredible. I’ve tried three ply heads such as drum-tec’s real-feel and Jobeky’s three ply but found them to be too loud or mushy. The Pintech Reaction is very quiet, especially if paired with another one used as a resonance head. The single ply of the Reaction is very tight and feels very much like a frosted head of an acoustic snare head. All my drums are outfitted with Reaction heads. Buy one and try it. You won’t be disappointed. And one other thing… Pintech service is as good as the heads.

Fair price, look great, durable, and are very quiet.
