The snare is a large 14″ size with 2 mesh heads, dual zone triggers for head and rim, and real metal hardware. A 12″ mesh kick drum, real metal hardware and clamps, chrome rack and full-motion hi-hat offer the most realistic experience possible.
The Pintech PDK3000 Electronic Drum Kit is built to withstand anything you can throw at it, and Pintech backs it up with a limited lifetime warranty.

Buy this if you are thinking about getting a Roland. This kit is SOOOOO nice, and a lot less money. All mesh, and the shells are made of metal. So they are super heavy duty. I went with the “SMOKE” colored cymbals, which look black but are actually a little bit see-through. Kind of like tinted glass in a car.
I ended up buying this kit, and then getting the TD30 module. Saved me about $2000.00. Also, this comes with the rack, snare stand and the hi-hat stand. So it actually saved me closer to $2500.00. I have DW double pedals hooked up to it, and the full size 14″ snare is really nice to play. All of my buddies love coming over and playing on the kit.
Ryan at Pintech helped me when I had some troubles with changing settings on my module. Even though Roland is a completely different company, Ryan took the time to explain to me the differences and nuances with the different settings. I could have read the module, but who does that any longer?
Last but not least is the warranty. Limited lifetime is pretty dang awesome. I haven’t had to use it, but I know that if I ever do, I won’t be disappointed.
